Telford and Wrekin

Telford and Wrekin The 2006 Council of the Year needed a new recruitment brand to reflect their dynamic, highly effective, 'Excellent' rated organisation.
Can & Do summed up their approach in a strong graphic device, which has been implemented across all recruitment communications.

Parole Board

Parole Board

We’ve worked with the Parole Board for the last two years, even sitting on their panels, to help get inside their recruitment process. They are high profile and subject to extreme public scrutiny – but this campaign faced that issue head on. With over 6000+ unique visitors logging onto the microsite and almost 1000 applications, the response was huge.

Ecolab

Ecolab What fuels or drives a Pest Controller? Ecolab is a global leader in sanitisation and environmental services. One of the toughest areas to recruit to is their Pest Control business. We found that the Universal Emotional link (the motivation) that will drive people of any background to do this work is the desire to learn about and eliminate harmful pests. Through this campaign we connect people to this desire with a challenge: it’s you versus the pests, can you out-wit them?

Wincanton

Wincanton

Wincanton’s Graduate campaign has been low-key and staid to date and they wanted to hire a new breed of graduate who would be inspired by pan-European opportunity and the breadth of the business. They required a simple piece of literature that could be handed out at exhibitions, a microsite and a stand that would attract attention and invite intrigue.

Using a range of media, we believed that a strong on-campus presence was key to selling and explaining to new graduates what Wincanton does.

BT

BT BT’s Fast Track programme takes high achieving graduates who are in their first or second jobs and fast forwards them to the BT talent pipeline. PRC’s strong attraction campaign and microsite created a strong pool for assessment and selection by our Penna recruitment colleagues.

Debenhams

Debenhams This was a very neat solution to the problem of advertising in mid summer for jobs at Christmas. Moving away from traditional Christmas images, which jar on a summer’s day, our art director had great fun on the beach at Camber Sands (unfortunately the budget didn’t run to Barbados). Advertising Seasonal Jobs, and reflecting the new Debenhams employer brand, the campaign was very successful.

Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young When E & Y were launching their new Pensions Advisory practice in summer 2007, their brief to PRC was to make a splash in the market about the new venture as well as to attract the brightest people in the pensions market. Our idea of challenging people to write an article or speech reflected the degree of specialist skills and industry standing candidates were expected to possess. It was a key aspect of high profile launch campaign.

Kent Police

Kent Police

Kent Police’s primary role is protecting Kent and keeping Kent safe. Intelligence-led policing is fundamental to this aim. Police Officers have to make crucial decisions and important judgements every day, so this advertisement challenged stereotypes through a strong emphasis on brainpower.

Hyde

Hyde

We were asked to develop a campaign that not only recruited a new Equality and Diversity Manager, but also demonstrated Hyde’s commitment to diversity in everything they do, not just recruitment.

‘We had some excellent candidates – the ad worked well’ Mike Naylor, Director of Human Resources, Hyde Housing.

Indesit

Indesit

The story of one sorry looking tomato… Indesit Company needed to attract creative, innovative and passionate managers for their sites across the country. The story of the lost hopes and dreams of one little tomato helped communicate the important message that life can be better.

Zenith

Zenith

LVMH Moet Hennessey – Louis Vuitton is the world’s largest luxury goods company with a unique portfolio of 50 prestigious brands. The look and feel of the ad and copy tone delivered a message that reflected the brand’s elegance and style. Although Zenith is well known internationally, they are investing considerably in the UK to increase market share and profile. This ad needed to attract a grounded, creative and ambitious professional – someone who can help take Zenith to the next level.

The Employers Forum on Age

The Employers Forum on Age

Two roles for the Employer's Forum on Age. We've a close relationship with the organisation that's helping employers embrace age diversity.

It's not only there to guide people through this year's legislation. Both these roles are also about celebrating diversity and unlocking the compelling business case for diversity.

Sharp

Sharp In collaboration with other recruitment agencies we helped develop a campaign to hire senior positions for Sharp’s new HQ in Stockley Park. Sharp is a leading developer of cutting-edge LCD TV, solar panel power and business equipment. We linked these products to this campaign in order to position Sharp as somewhere you can have the vision, enterprise and empowerment to innovate.
