Services
Interim services may be thought of as falling into four broad categories:
Professional guardianship: This fills a management gap. This may have been caused by a delay in permanent recruitment, absence or secondment or where rapidly changing needs make a permanent hire inappropriate.
Consulting or diagnostic roles: Here the Interim Manager is a substitute for a management consulting firm. They bring greater experience and a lower cost. They also answer to your agenda not to their firm’s.
Programme/project management: These are finite projects or groups of projects with specific deliverables. They require practiced resource and stakeholder management skills.
Specific skill set based roles: These provide a resource of skill unavailable internally. They may be used to develop new markets, products, regulatory compliance or geographies. The wisdom and insights they provide speed growth, cut cost and reduce risk.
